If you have been downtown in the past two weeks you may have noticed quite a bit of work happening on S. 9th Street between Commerce and Market Streets.

The City of Tacoma is reconstructing the streetscape. Improvements will include new sidewalks, crosswalks, bulb outs, and a new concrete road surface. Work should be completed in early November and the contractor will be working at least some Saturdays.

Here’s hoping for some mild weather to make the work go faster!
