We are just regular people who love Tacoma. If you are here you probably love Tacoma too.
We hope what we write here inspires you to love our city a little more, sparks a conversation or maybe gets you a little more involved in the activities going on around you. This is for the people, by the people. Want to get involved? Contact us. Comment. Share it with your neighbor. Because ultimately we are all in this together.
Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men’s blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, …but long after we are gone will be a living thing, asserting itself with ever-growing insistency. Remember that our sons and grandsons are going to do things that would stagger us. Let your watchword be order and your beacon beauty. Think big.
-Daniel Burnham, Chicago architect. (1846-1912) One half of Burnham and Root, the architects of our lost Luzon building.
What will your big plans be?
